My script mods used to be strewn haphazardly across a few folders which I have to sift through after each patch update. Considering hundreds of these items are mods, which often need to be individually updated, patch day can be a bit of a nightmare.
If you want to experience other people’s games, create or watch let’s plays, or invite your simming friends to an old-fashioned LAN party where everyone can play sims on their friend’s computers, or learn how to remotely access your friend’s computer/sims game.I have a whopping over 25 GB strong mods folder and I know I’m not alone. Relating to our sims games, if your game gets a dose of Foreign Mod Folder, it might very well react with a BFBVFS. I like to think of it like an ecosystem, like enterobacteria that is uniquely balanced and of different composition in all of us (did I gross you out? Yep, It’s gross to share mod folders.) Not only is this breaking tons of TOU’s of CC creators (most creators have a rule not to reupload stuff, and that goes for collections/compilations of CC as well, and they deserve that respect, it is a very small request to make for spending hours to create something and sharing it for free, I know what I’m talking about), but a mod folder is also a very delicate thing. I personally think that is a small request to make, considering im sharing my work that i make in my free time, that no one pays me for, with you for free. I know what i make isnt “patented” or “copywrited” but im sharing it with you out of the goodness of my heart, and all i ask in return is that you not re-upload it. I will delete this later, but as a creator, i just want to say i would be quite dissapointed if someone re-uploaded my stuff.
Maybe i’ll upload my mod folder and start this thing… Anyone else interested?
Just thinking… It would be cool to just completely play my sims game how others play with their CC and stuff. REBLOG I think i want to do a Mod Folder Exchange
